3Sat, a german TV broadcast station, reported on search engines. mnemomap is presented as an alternative way to search the internet. They call menmomap the “search engine with the unpronounceable name”. You can see the whole report here.

Yesterday we released a new version of the atomic tree that includes some minor updates and bugfixes.

mnemo is “alpha 0.2″! We’ve updated the database and have done a bundle of little things. now the database contains 40 million records in 15 languages. a very new function is the “language token” branch. it shows you words and phrases that are syntactically close and semantically significant to your search.

furthermore we’re working on our “assistance concept”. you can recognise the first steps in some little information boxes, that appears in the tree-area.

A tiny new feature has just saw the light of day: the mnemo it dasboard widget (mac os x).

Today we enhanced the behavior of the Query List. We had some problems to harmonize the actual search query with the corresponding search results. Now it works better. But, we still have problems if you change the Query List rapidly. We’re working on it.
